Profession Day

  • July 25, 2017

On July 23rd Two Novices made their Profession to become Little Sisters. One is named Sr. Faustina Clare (Gerrity) and the other Sr. Mary Gerard (Adams). Sr. Faustina received her first assignment for Philadelphia and Sr. Mary Gerard for Palatine, Illinois.

Two  postulants received their new names: Cynthia became Sr. Fatima of Jesus and Maria became Sr. Maria Raphael.   They will now be in Queens Novitiate for two years to complete their formation.

Profession day was a beautiful celebration with lots of Little Sisters attending and Family Members, friends, and young women discerning. The Bishop who presided was Rev. James Masa, Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn.

Welcome Father Rousseau
