Welcome Father Rousseau

  • June 16, 2017

Father Robert Rousseau will be joining the Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Joseph Residence as the new chaplain. He is pictured here with Mother Genevieve Regina celebrating her 50th Anniversary.

Father Rousseau was Pastor of Holy Family Parish here in Enfield for 5 years.

Father recently celebrated his  Golden Jubilee in May. He had a wonderful celebration and received a lot of affirmation from the people in the parish who truly love him. Father is also charge of Pro-Life Ministries for the Archdiocese of Hartford.

Many  of the Residents are so happy he is coming to the Home for they had him in the parish as their pastor  before they came to the Home.

Holy Family is now merging with St. Bernard Parish here in Enfield, and the new name voted on by the people is St. Jeanne Jugan. We are all so excited by this for it will make our Foundress more known.
