We offer a Summer service program at all of our Homes. These opportunities allow any young person in college discerning a call to Religious life to experience life as a Little Sister of the Poor.
This year, we had a young woman, Mary Grace, living with us for 6 weeks during the summer. She will be going into her 2nd year at Hillsdale College. She did everything possible and helped wherever she was needed. She even went on a begging trip to a Church visit on the weekend.
Before she left us on Sunday, August 5, she stated “I was so happy being here. Everyone is wonderful.” She promises to come back when she’s out of school. The Residents miss Mary Grace already. We will continue to pray for all these young women and are so grateful for their help.
