ENFIELD, CT (WFSB) – A school project has become so much more for fourth grade students in Enfield.

The students had to write a biography about someone they just met, but in the end it wasn’t just a lesson for the class, but it became a life lesson for everyone involved.

“The book is called, ‘All About the Famous Evelyn Urban’. She may not be on TV but to me she is very famous,” said Cassidy Thompsen, who is a student at Saint Martha School in Enfield and wrote about Evelyn, who she recently met.

Evelyn Urban is 100 years old, and her story was shared with 31 fourth grade students via a homework assignment.

On Tuesday, the students celebrated the completion of the assignment with a pizza party at the St. Joseph’s Residence for the Elderly, and they each read a biography they wrote about someone they met and interviewed.
