Twilight Rosary
On Saturday, August 15 we celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother with a Twilight Rosary. It was a wonderful night be be outside and celebrate this special day (socially distanced, of course!)
Poem written by one of our Residents:
Twilight Rosary
under the vault
of summer heaven
we slipped onto
folding chairs.
The sun bid adieu,
path-lights glowed,
voices hushed,
hearts unburdened.
Heaven’s Queen listened
as ‘Hail Mary’s’ and song
implored her help. She lifted
us above the horrors of our era.
Her presence was felt;
she loved us; she embraced
us; she drifted hearts and
pleas to her beloved Son.
