Christmas 2017

Christmastime at St. Joseph’s is a busy time with family, friends, Sisters, employees, visitors and MANY, many parties. The Residents’ families came to the Home for a wonderful Christmas Dinner. The merriment and joy of the Christmas holiday was felt throughout the halls.

White Christmas

Our Residents didn’t need to just dream of a White Christmas…. they got it! We had a great gift of snow just in time for Christmas this year. Everything was covered in a blanket of white. It was so beautiful and got everyone in the Christmas Spirit.

Mass of Remembrance

November 2, a was held in St. Joseph Residence Chapel for all the deceased residents of St. Joseph during the year of 2017. A small vigil candle was brought to the alter by a member of each family. October 25, the Birthday of St. Jeanne Jugan was celebrated with the staff at St. Joseph’s Residence. Kelly Chenalier from the Housekeeping Department was chosen to receive the Jeanne Jugan Award which is given annually to a staff member who exemplifies the spirit of Sr. Jeanne Jugan. The Glen Mohr Chorale from New York came to perform the musical “The Hidden Heart” on Sunday, October 22.
